00:00 — VW PASSAT VARIANT B6 3C – fuel filter: step-by-step replacement tutorial
00:20 — Open the hood.
00:42 — Use a torx №T20. Loosen the filter cover fixing bolts.
01:35 — Unscrew the fuel filter cover.
02:00 — Remove the fuel filter.
02:26 — Remove the old sealing ring.
02:46 — Install new O-rings of the filter element.
03:07 — Install a new fuel filter. Please note, it is important not to mix up the filter sides. Arrows on the filter indicate the fuel flow direction.
03:11 — Install and tighten the cap of the fuel filter housing. Use a torx №T20.
04:10 — Close the hood. Before the start be sure to bleed the fuel system to prevent the air inleakage.
