VW T5 - T6 TDI Diesel fuel filter. Here I demonstrate how you can change the diesel fuel filter in the engine bay on a VW Transporter , Muliivan etc and show you how to prime the filter using the VCDS or VAG com software. I explain what to do if you don't have this software or another brand of scanner, in order to prime the new fuel filter. If you haven't primed the filter do not try and start the engine other wise you'll move significant air into the fuel injectors which can in some circumstances damage the injectors. If you prime the filter the manually, as discussed in this video, the engine will run a little rough until all the air is out of the system. Make sure you have a suitable replacement filter for your engine before starting this job. Have fun and see you on the next video.
