In this video, I show how to remove and install new engine mounts in my 2001 Volkswagen Golf TDI. I chose the street density motor mounts by 034 Motorsports since this car is my daily driver. This is a fairly straight forward job, but the most challenging part is obtaining the correct alignment of the mounts. Be sure to use new bolts! Always be safe when working under the vehicle too. Do one side at a time just as I did in the video. Good luck!

Cable hose clamp pliers:

Dogbone mount: 034-509-1000-SD
Rear 2 bolts get torqued to: 20Nm (15ft lbs) + 1/4 turn
2 bolts to transmission get torqued to: 40Nm (30ft lbs) + 1/4 turn

Transmission mount: 034-509-4D17-SD

Engine mount: 034-509-0052-SD

The 18mm bolts get torqued to 100Nm or 74 ft lbs.
The 16mm bolts get torqued to 40Nm (29.5 ft lbs) + 1/4 turn
